This DVD includes the documentary
Hilary Hahn - On the Road, directed by Benedict Mirow and broadcast on German television in 2005, which follows the violinist from continent to continent as she talks about her life and her music, takes in local sights, rehearses and performs. Also included are backstage moments and a visit to the Curtis Institute where she studied, and live performance excerpts from the Korngold Violin Concerto with Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and a Mozart sonata with pianist Natalie Zhu.
